UAB Collat Professional Education offers two certificate options for professionals looking to build or advance their project management skills.

This 5-week Advanced Project Management Certificate Course is designed for experienced project managers who want to strengthen their skills in an accelerated format. The program includes PMP certification exam preparation and access to an asynchronous project management technology workshop.

Both instructor-led programs are taught by experienced professionals and focus on practical tools and strategies you can apply immediately in your work.

Course Outline

COURSE LENGTH: 5 Weeks

5 Thursday evenings (available Summer 2026) OR 5 Friday mornings (available Fall 2026)

CONTENT: Advanced Project Management (4 weeks), PMP Test Prep (1 week), Project Management Technology (asynchronous)

DURATION: 3.5 hours

CLASS SIZE: Under 30 students

EFFORT: 6-8 hours per week outside of class

FORMAT: Live online with eLearning Management System

MODEL: Instructor-led with group discussions and interactive exercises
